Resources and FAQs

Our team are at hand to help you as needed. TRN doesn’t need any special downloads or software, so it should be easy to access your treatment.

However, we know it’s not a perfect world so there are a number of self-help and test tools available on this page should you have problems. If you cannot resolve the issue then do use our free online chat service to access a technician.

Frequently asked questions

What equipment do I need?

You don’t need any extra or specialist equipment to access support. You will need a PC with internet access via a browser, ideally via Chrome or IE, and the latest version of Adobe Flash installed. You will also need a headset with inbuilt microphone to be able to talk with and listen to the therapist, plus a webcam if you want to be seen. For the best results we recommend a wired connection to the internet. There are no other requirements.

How do I get the best audio experience?

To get the best experience, we recommend using a headset with a mic. The tabs to the right help you to ensure that your audio is working properly. There is also a comprehensive audio checker to make sure that you can check everything is running smoothly prior to a session.

What browser should I use?

Therapy sessions run on a platform which uses Flash. The minimum requirement is version 11.7. Sessions can run in most browsers. If you are experiencing any issues accessing your session we recommend you try using Google Chrome.

How do I send a message?

First, log in to your account on the TRN website. Then go to the top right hand corner of your screen and click on the envelope icon. The icon will then open a messaging feature. On this messenger, you can send private messages to a therapist.
